The Maghull High Way – Standards and Expectations

At Maghull High School, we believe in fostering an environment where every student is empowered to achieve, aspire, and enjoy their educational journey. Our policy, rooted in the Maghull High Way, sets clear standards and expectations for all students, ensuring they are equipped with the values and skills necessary to succeed both academically and personally.

We work in partnership with parents to uphold these values, fostering a strong home-school relationship that supports each student’s progress. The Maghull High Way represents our shared commitment to excellence and well-being, ensuring that every student leaves our school ready to take on the world with confidence and ambition.

Together, we set the path for success.

The Maghull High Way

At Maghull High, we believe that maintaining high standards both inside and outside the classroom is key to personal and academic success. Our website reflects the principles of the Maghull High Way, which is built upon three core values: Aspire, Achieve, and Enjoy. These values guide our expectations for both students and parents as we work together to foster a positive and supportive online community.

We have worked closely with students, staff and parents to create our Maghull High Way of basic standards and expectations.

Choice, Chance, Consequence

At Maghull High School, we also believe in guiding students to make informed decisions that reflect our core values. To support this, we have embedded the principles of Choice, Chance, Consequence into our Maghull High Way, encouraging students to take responsibility for their actions and understand the impact of their decisions.

This escalation process — Choice, Chance, Consequence —helps maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, while also encouraging personal growth. It empowers students to reflect on their decisions and take ownership of their behaviour, ensuring they stay on the path towards achieving, aspiring, and enjoying their time at Maghull High School.

Home School Agreement

At Maghull High School, we value the strong partnership between students, parents, and teachers. Our Home School Agreement outlines the shared commitment and responsibilities of each group to ensure success and well-being for every student.

Together, through this shared commitment, we ensure that every student has the opportunity to achieve, aspire, and enjoy their time at Maghull High School.
